Alive [Rough Draft]
I’m in the middle of writing for my new cd titled “Cerebal vs. Cardiac” These are the rough draft lyrics I have for the first track, Alive.
this is my world of skating
pinpoint a location to to rearrange my placement
as if I belonged somewhere
and the world is hardly fair
my thoughts are being mauled by bears
they take destroy and leave
and under survival the mess is enough to bleed out - never cleaned
turn the dial - let it pour out and maybe time will find its way backwards
as i’m walking forwards
living out my past stuck to the mask, stranded and i’m all out of gas
and the bus stopped running even if i had a pass
while i’m trudging through the desert hoping to reach first
only winding up last
at that time my mind created a timeline, of my life
chronologically defined and where i first drew the line
we’re only alive, through the thought of violence
we only speak, through the weight of silence
that stole my smile
i’m so unorganized, i can’t locate files
where my foul manner memorized by karma
took my pain lapse and extended it longer
letters written out in the heat of the moment
where i was first presented with the idea “life is golden”
dehydrated, legs getting weary eyes unclearly
formulating and figurating to make my vision more clear see,
blind too nearly,
goddamn those tears they fear me
this journey’s getting long the darks falling fast
and the moon hasn’t found its way back
pupils glistening in the deep darkness
and my soul feeds the appartitions that believe
that when we leave, our breath finds rest amongst the leaves
falling and being crumpled under others feet
well there’s no life out here
so there’s not much i fear
if i died i’m being buried in the dust
with all the others that live here

I’m currently indulging in them. Very good band. Hardcore seems to do good with inspiration for writing.
